Quick Start: Your First Tumbling Batch

Getting started only takes a few minutes.

1. Fill the Barrel
   Add rocks until the barrel is about 2/3 to 3/4 full.
   Include ceramic on steps 3 and 4 to fill in spaces and ensure 2/3 to 3/4 full.
   
2. Add Water
   Fill with water until it just reaches the top of the stones.
3. Add Grit - One Tbsp per pound of rock
   Add the correct step of grit for the stage you are on.
   
4. Start Tumbling
   Seal the barrel and let the tumbler run for about 7 days.

After each stage, rinse the stones and repeat with the next grit stage until the final polish reveals a smooth, glossy shine.
