At Rocks Canada, we believe great hobbies deserve great gear, clear information, and real support.
Our story started with All-Star Telescope, which we launched four years ago. As we grew that business, we kept noticing the same thing: many of the hobbies we love — from rock tumbling and lapidary to metal detecting, gold panning, and prospecting — were not being served as well as they should be. Product selection was often limited, useful guidance was hard to find, and it wasn’t always easy for hobbyists to get the right equipment quickly and confidently.
So we started expanding.
What began with a small selection of rock tumblers, rough rock, and metal detectors kept growing. Soon we were adding gold panning supplies, prospecting gear, lapidary equipment, replacement parts, and more. The more we added, the clearer it became: these hobbies deserved a dedicated home of their own.
That’s why we created Rocks Canada.

While Rocks Canada has its own focus, it is still backed by the same team behind All-Star Telescope and the same commitment to helpful service and knowledgeable support. We’re proud to be based in Edmonton, Alberta, serving customers locally and across Canada.
