Hi-Tech Diamond Glass/Crystal Disc Kits

The Hi-Tech Diamond glass/crystal disc kit comes with everything you need to grind, shape and polish glass and crystal. It is the same kit that is included with the All-U-Need glass/crystal model and Slant Cabber glass/crystal model lap machines. This kit is great for replacing all of your diamond discs at once. Both 6" and 8" diameter size kits are available.

The Hi-Tech Diamond glass/crystal disc kit comes with everything you need to grind, shape and polish glass and crystal. The four electroplated diamond discs included in this kit provide a flat grinding surface and perform both rough and fine grinding when precision is required. Top-grade diamond powder is nickel electroplated uniformly onto a 1mm-thick steel disc, resulting in the highest quality discs available on the market. These diamond discs have a long lifespan because they are made of steel and are well-suited for more heavy-duty grinding. Each disc is labeled to easily determine what grit the disc is and come without a 3M pressure sensitive adhesive backing, allowing for quick and easy disc change while using just ONE backing plate for all four discs.

Our Tech-11 polishing pad and diamond paste included in this kit ensures a nice polish on glass and crystal. The Tech-11 polishing pad is made with high-density wool felt, and the 3M pressure sensitive adhesive backing on the backside provides easy application to backing plates with a stay-put fit. You must charge this pad with diamond compound before use.

Important Purchasing Notes: This glass/crystal disc kit can be used on any Hi-Tech Diamond All-U-Need and/or Hi-Tech Diamond Slant Cabber. It is also specially designed to grind, shape and polish glass and crystal. If you plan on polishing rocks, minerals and/or metals, we suggest purchasing the rock/mineral disc kit.
