The EXCALIBUR II is a rugged, dive-ready detector built for serious underwater exploration. Waterproof to 60 metres (200 ft) and powered by BBS™ technology, it excels in saltwater environments like shipwrecks, surf zones and beaches. Rotary dial controls make adjustments easy, while multi-tone analogue audio helps you identify targets by sound. A dual shaft system gives you the flexibility to detect on land or switch to a compact dive setup. BBS Multi-Frequency  Technology
BBS uses 17 frequencies at once to improve depth and target ID underwater. It reduces false signals in salt or mineralised ground, ideal for beach and submerged detecting.

Rotary dials give fast access to Threshold, Sensitivity, Volume and more. Easily switch between Disc and All Metals modes, even with gloves in wet or rough environments.

Dual Shafts
Detect comfortably on land or at the shoreline with the standard shaft, adjustable from 114 cm to 122 cm (45 in to 48 in). For deeper underwater hunts, switch to the included dive shaft, which adjusts from 82 cm to 91 cm (32 in to 36 in) for improved handling below the surface.

Multi-Tone Audio Discrimination

Identify targets by sounds, based on their conductivity. At lower settings, ferrous targets are rejected and non-ferrous targets are accepted. Increasing the setting filters out more conductive unwanted targets, focusing on the signals that matter.

Auto Ground Balance

Ground balance is automatic, making it easy to transition between soil types without manual input. It’s a streamlined experience for consistent results across a range of conditions.

The standard shaft extends from 114 cm to 122 cm (45 in to 48 in) for comfortable detecting on land and along shorelines. For underwater use, the included dive shaft adjusts from 82 cm to 91 cm (32 in to 36 in), offering improved control and easier handling in deeper conditions.
